With Ysbrand, a 1966 Doerak 850 OK, you can get to the most beautiful places in Friesland. The boat had a complete refit in 2020 and is equipped with a new engine, bow thruster, shower and other conveniences. Naturally, it also meets all safety requirements. Relaxed and carefree holidays are what we like to provide.

A Doerak is known for its good cruising characteristics. Even with little experience it is easy to steer. The bow thruster helps you easily manoeuvre, moor and sail away. Thanks to its shallow draught and height, you can sail in many places in Friesland. If you do not have a sailing licence, we advise you to book instruction.

Comfortable enjoyment

The Doerak is a spacious and comfortable boat. With good sleeping accommodation for four people and plenty of storage space, the boat offers enough room for a family. On holiday, you want to rest and therefore sleep well. The boat has new mattresses and blackout curtains. Simple things but all-important for a relaxing holiday.

While underway, the boat still offers plenty of convenience and comfort. Hot water and gas are always available, so you can also shower, cook and have a chilled drink if you spend the night somewhere in the countryside. Ysbrand has usb and usb-c connections, so phones and tablets can be charged at all times. In ports, shore power means 230 volts is available on board.

Just that little bit extra

The swimming platform at the back of the ship is a great place to enjoy the setting sun with your legs in the water. The folding swimming ladder makes it easy to climb back on board.

When you arrive on the Doerak, you have often already had a long trip.

How nice if the fridge is filled with cold drinks, some tasty snacks, a healthy meal and eggs for breakfast. We will gladly take care of this! As well as freshly made beds, firm towels and linen for the kitchen. Naturally, Nespresso coffee is ready and we have a traditional percolator for delicious fresh coffee while underway.
